this is absolutely adorable, but it is very poor quality, a week after I put it in my tank the paint started to bubble and peel. it could be useable perhaps if it were coated in a sealant. I'm sad to see it go, because my betta seemed to like it as his low down hiding spot.

bought this 2 weeks ago for my fish tank thinking it would be a cute hiding spot for him. noticed today there were small paint bubbles on it and couldn't remember whether it had always been like that or not. came here to find out that everyone else had the same issue! kinda sad cuz i didn't think about researching decor before buying it. was just assuming that things in the fish aisle should be ok in the fish tank....

Its okay. I haven't experienced any paint chipping and I have had it for 2 months, but it does bubble. It doesn't seem to bother or harm the fish though.

I have had this for a couple of weeks and the paint is bubbling and flaking off. Top Fin is Pets Mart's brand and it is all garbage. I also have their 5.5 gallon tank and the filter that came with the kit tries to suck the fish up.
