after just a few months the leaves started to fall out, after just moving it to a new tank and putting new water in, the glue holding them in obviously wasn't that great and there's really no way to put them back in. And shortly after, the top half broke of completely while trying to gently take it out of the tank because I knew the leaves were fragile. If it wasn't made so poorly it would be a great product though, because it looked really cool

BarbarianBroad Natrual looking tree for hiding & deccoration
I bought this aquarium tree in March 2013, almost a year later and it still looks good. Other reviewers complained about it's durability, but I found no issues with that. It does get wobbly if you don't secure the base under some rock or gravel, but once it's roots are buried your tree will stand strong. Some of my fish like to sleep under the gap in the roots at the bottom of this decorative tree, while others just like swimming around it's tall stem.
I ripped out the fake foliage and used a toothpick to get excess glue from their holes; replacing them with bits of living Java Fern and Water Wisteria for a more natural look. The growing leaves now sway in the water, and draw more attention to the colors of fish, rather than staring at plastic leaves.
A year later and the "Asian red leaf tree" is still fully enact, minus the fake foliage -which I removed.
A good buy, just remember to bury the feet of it under gravel or decorative rocks to weigh it down and prevent in tank tipping. Great for those who want a more natural looking tank

It looks very beautiful in the tank and my fish loved it, especially my ghost shrimps, but it was poorly conducted. I take out my plants and rinse them after I change out the water and after five times of doing this and putting them back in the tank the top part broke off.
