This pet bed warmer worked great on Jan. 6, 2014 which was one of the coldest nights in the Akron, Ohio area with a temp of negative 13 degrees and a wind chill of close to negative 40 degrees. Inside our garage we have a small dog house with 2 sleeping bags stuffed inside. The pet bed warmer was placed under only the first top layer of a sleeping bag so the warmth could radiate upward for our newest stray cat. (She does not play well yet with our other 4 inside cats). The temp in our garage only got down to 20 degrees, but the cat's bed stayed toasty warm. I know because I was out there several times putting my hand under the cat to see if her bed was warm for her. It was just purrfect for her, she did not budge out of her house all night long. Great product for our newest cat family member.

An inexpensive way to make the cat bed more comfy during a cold winter. My cat has three bed warmers throughout the house and enjoys all of them at different times of the day.

Our elderly cat spends days and nights on this pad. I have it it a chair with a light wool blanket over it. I worried about her staying warm enough for the hours that we are away from the house in the winter. She seems warm and toasty day and night. We live in Minnesota where it is often 10 above outside. It has done all and more for why I purchased it.
