We purchased this bed September 1, 2012, today is December 26, 2012. The foam in the bed is cheap egg crate foam which has pieces broken off. The bed has had a big circle where it has smashed down from our dog lying on it since about 61 days after purchase. I certainly will never spend that amount of money again on a poorly constructed bed. Petsmart will only take it back within 60 days so beware of buying anything that lasts over the 60 days.

I purchased this bed for our senior mastiff/shepherd (40 kgs) yesterday after reading mixed reviews elsewhere. Being in Canada, I wasn't able to order several other beds I looked at.
After some hesitation, our old guy curled up on it and now that's the first place he goes to rest (that is if the other little dogs haven't stolen his spot). He LOVES this bed. I purchased the large size (40x50) and it's perfect for him. He could spread out on it if he liked.
The only drawback with this product is it's a bit slippy on a hardwood floor. I would like to see some sort of rubber backing to prevent it from moving around easily. Other than that, I am very pleased with this bed. It is expensive however, I figure an old guy deserves it. I will re-post after a few months if the foam bottoms out.
