My senior cat loves this bed! She will not get out of it long enough for anyone else to get in it. Please note that it does not get that warm to the touch, it is activated when the cat lays on it.

My poor cats hate this cold weather!! They both get in this and snuggle. They love it so I do too!

I ordered this product afters spending quite a bit of time researching cat warming beds on the internet. The bed has a pocket into which slips a heating pad. When the unit arrived I plugged it in. After 20 minutes the heating pad was warm, but no warmth had risen through the thick padding of the bed. I waited an additional hour, but because the padding is so thick, the bed itself never became warm. There is no way to remove stuffing from the bed. It's just a bad design. I'm surprised this product is even available, as anyone who purchases it will return it. I am not pleased to have to pay return postage/return in store.

I foster kittens, and personally am owned by Senior Citizen cats. All love these beds. One of the beds I use is nearly 5 years old, and it has held up well. I agree with the other reviewer that the "firmer" and higher sides of this bed seem to be well-liked by cats. They feel enclosed and secure. This washes well...just take out foam lining and wash and cool dry; it also is easy to vacume clean. Again, one of the beds I have is 5 years old and still looks good and heats up like a charm.
