I tried it for my rats but they chewed through the bottom less than 6 hours after setup and squeezed through the ceiling bars, and she's pretty big. But it would be fantastic for Guinea pigs!

love this cage so much, it has an awesome amount of space for my pig, she absolutely loves it, it is a great upgrade for her from her ugly, small, flimsy, store bought cage, and now she never pees and almost never poops in her sleeping quarters! love this cage, great buy for people with two guinea pigs or less unless you are adding on another cage. Definitely recommend!

I love this cage. To be honest, I was a little hesitant while putting the cage together, it seemed a lot different from what I had before. But once I put it together and saw how big it was, and I saw how happy my pig was, I changed my mind. It is super easy to clean. Literally took 10-15 mins to clean the "care" side. Other than cleaning that out once a week, I wipe the "play" side down every few days. My pig loves the little ramp too. The only thing I don't like is the cage top. I chose to keep it off as it is bulky, doesn't fit quite right, and is hard to access. My cats are fine with the lid off and haven't jumped inside. But the cats and the pig get along great anyway. Great purchase. I recommend, if you don't need the lid.

My guinea pig loves the space she has to roam around. I could easily fit a hut, tunnel, toys, food bowl, water bottle, and hay rack with her still able to run around. She barely chews on the canvas bottom. All in all, would recommend to small pet owners.
