I currently house 2 cockateils and 1 parakeet in this cage. They all fit in with no squeezing. I could probably even put in another parakeet. The food and water dish are easy access to the birds. And the cage is large enough that my parakeet can fly in it even with the many toys i have in there. The only issue with the cage for you is cleaning it. You have to take out the entire bottom and its pretty big. I have to take mine outside to clean it because it just wont fit anywhere else. But the play pen at the top is also fun, as long as you trust the you bird wont fly away. The birds love to be out on it, as long as i have a close eye on them I'm good, but that would depend on if you have your birds wings clipped. Also the top is good because the birds can still eat and drink on the top, plus there's another tray to clean up there which actually makes it easier to clean that area. The catchers that go around the cage are a big help. They catch any seeds or things that fall and sends the to the bottom of the cage thorough the bars if its a small enough item, like birds seed shells. So overall i would buy this cage for a large birds, or for a few small ones.
