I have a 120 pound Great Pyrenes. We have been using this bed with a thick dog bed on top for the past several months. No real problems. It does sag a little in the middle now. The dog loves this bed. I do not know why the manufacturer used flimsy mesh, solid strong material would have been better. But, it is not a problem with the dog bed on top. I am ordering a second one for inside.

So far, so good. Both of my dachshunds love this bed. I put their favorite "Blankie" on the bed and they took to it immediately. They normally don't like to share anything, very competitive, but no problem with this bed. They treat this bed just like their favorite couch.

My dog is elderly and has begun having problems getting up in the chair she usually sleeps in. So I was looking for a raised dog bed for her that she could more easily get up on. This bed is perfect. I got the medium size and put a geriatric cushion on top of it She loves it and can easily get off and on it without a problem. I love that it is also portable so I can take it with us when we travel. It is sturdy and well made. Although it is a little pricey, I feel it was well worth it.
