I have a tiny 10lb puppy. She quickly removed the bottom pad and shredded it to pieces. That wasn't enough for the dog though, because she moved on to destroying the side insulation.
Ware Manufacturing states they make quality pet products. How could a quality product be so easily destroyed by one small puppy? This product is meant to be around and surround dogs. If such a tiny dog can do so much damage, this is not a product that has been built in a quality fashion.
Also I took my concerns to the owners of the company. Their answer was -- too bad. They were unwilling to stand by their product and replace the one I had bought.

I bought this for my dogs' outdoor day-houses , and it worked much better than I thought it would. It was much more durable than I expected,and it did actually keep them warm and dry. I placed an electric thermometer in the dog houses to check for elevated temperature,and I lined the sides with newspaper to check for leaks,and,what do you know? It passed with flying colors. However,while this product worked great for my small breed dogs (I have 2 pugs and a Maltese)I'm not sure how well it would hold up with a bigger breed.
