I have bought other leather leashes that were a few dollars less and much nicer leather. This leash feels flimsy. The only thing I like about it is that it comes in fun colors. For the price, I would have appreciated a heavier feel.

This is my first time ordering a leash without seeing and feeling it first. I have three dogs and already had two great leather leashes but I wanted to try a new one with my newest puppy. I ordered the 1 inch wide red leather leash with my dogs name and my telephone number printed on it (using the personalization offer). The leash feels amazing - it bends easily and I can tell the personalized letters will not be disappearing anytime soon. The letters are slightly etched into the thick leather and colored black so they will not rub or be scratched away. The metal bracket seems to be sturdy. Overall this is an excellent leash that I will tell all my friends to buy.
As a side note, my trainer recommends that all dogs be walked on leather leashes as they are the most durable, reliable, and the least dangerous type of leash - he trains police dogs for his "day" job.

i cant stress enough how long ive been looking for a great quality soft comfortable durable leather leash, and this is it. i got 4ft and black with just my dogs named and it came out perfect, the leather is soft quality and it is a single layer of leather. i bended/massaged the leather for a little while after getting it out of the box to kind of make it more "worn it" and soft/flexible and it worked out great. i would order this leash w/o the monogramming as well, great leash!!
