I saw this on sale and paid about $70-80 and got so excited about it. I got home with it and installed it and first of all the way it sits on the tank is not to sturdy knock it off the stands all the time and crash into top off tank it goes. All the lights are still lit though. Second it is not as bright as I was hoping for it to be. Put the fluorescent to shame but compared to other leds not good. The night setting is perfect lighting. If I had spent more money on it I. Would have been upset but for the $70-80 I'm satisfied.

I bought the 24"-36" light for a 29 gallon rectangular tank. So far it is awesome. I compared it to the regular incandescent light and it takes out the blue compared to the incandescent light. The moonlight effect is awesome at night when i lay in bed and watch my tank. Im going to buy the bigger one when I get a bigger tank, also going to see if the smaller one fits on my 20 gallon hexagon tank.

This light came with my Marineland 46 gallon bow front aquarium. I find this single bright LED light is more than adequate for providing light to my entire tank. I have fake plants so I have no need for a brighter light. I much rather the LED's over the old bulbs. It puts out a clean, white light. This light isn’t made for live planted tanks. If you need more light then they make special LED lights specifically for planted tanks. There is one made for saltwater tanks also. I've only been using this light for a few weeks & so far so good. I haven't had any problems with it. The only complaint I have is that if it breaks, you can't just replace the bulbs, you have to buy a whole new system. I really love the moonlight setting, I couldn't see my glofish "glow" under my old light fixture. This light also makes a shimmery effect on everything which is really nice, it feels like I'm in the ocean. The switch is located on the side of the light which is different & better so the water doesn't splash on it. Make sure you have a glass canopy or hood under the light so water doesn't get on it. So far I'm very happy with it, I just hope I get several years of out of it.
