I bought this in February for my cat. The first thing that I really liked was that I didn't have to assemble it. It came in a big box ready to use. It takes my cat a while to get used to new things( he's a stray I took in a few years ago), but soon he was scratching away. I sat the end with the toy hanging down adjacent to another scratching post; he loves to lie down on the floor of the post, which is another reason I bought this. It sits at one end of my hallway which opens into my kitchen, and he can watch what I'm doing. He is a vigorous scratcher though, and has managed to demolish any post he likes. So that's why I've got to order another one; thank God you still sell it. Obviously, I'm pleased with my purchase. He doesn't care about the toy feather, but the unit is perfectly structured to suit his needs. Maybe I'd better order a couple of them.
