I placed the perch outside of the cage to let Marvin get used to such a unique perch but he immediately tried pulling it into his cage.
He has been already biting at the attachment ends, so I am sure he will get through them in the next week or so. All great bird toys need minor repairs :)

I have several of these perches, and I attach them to the ceiling, and to the cage. They love running around high on the ceiling on these perches. Nice hard wood, but they can still chew on it.

I like to toss this perch in every couple weeks to switch it up from the static bar-mounted perches. It sways with the bird's movement and my lovebirds like to walk from one end to the other. Helps simulate branches, the texture changes from one step to another, and it's secure.

As soon as I saw this product, I knew I had to buy it. It looks like so much fun, with all the textures shape sizes.
My budgies and cockatiel took to it right away. I hung it up in my hanging gym outside of their cage as a ladder/bridge between toys. My one budgies flew right to it, and kept walking up and down it.
I love it, and they love it. Wasn't very expensive. A smart buy.
