I use these to add biological filtration to my Penguin 280 in the media cartridge, and also in an Aqua Clear by fillinf a filter bag and placing on top. What can I say, my 36 gallon aquarium is super healthy, despite a rather heavy fish load. No clogging problems, just rinse them in conditioned water with each water change. This allows me to keep constant bio filtration despite change the mechanical filters. Great product!
