I purchased the Scat Mat Strip for my counter-surfing dog. This item has really done the trick. She has not attempted to put her feet on the counter to check out what is up there since I installed it.

I purchased the scat mat for my Great Dane that likes to park her butt on the couch while were not home. while it was in shipment a friend told me about just stretching plain aluminum foil on the couch cushions while away from home. and it works. so I returned the product not used.

The cats find the counter, the window and the stove their playground at night. In an effort to keep them and the glassware safe this product is excellent. The small electric current quickly educates them to stay off the counter. It keeps the cats safe by avoiding broken objects.

We have 2 cats that scratch our bedroom door at night and when we received this ScatMat it could not have come fast enough! used it for 2 weeks and the very first night it worked very well, I love this mat! Now I don't have to turn it on because the cats know what it is and don't bother us at night anymore, I will be using it on the furniture next!
