Rated 4 out of 5 by GSDmadness Meets the needs of a multi-dog household!
These collars are AWESOME. I originally went out in search of breakaway collars because we just added a fourth dog to our household -- he is a rescue GSD and loves to play with my other GSDs, but has a bad habit of grabbing collars to tug the other dogs around.
I was afraid that he might get his jaw stuck or worse - I couldn't find a leather collar I was confident would break if need be. I also didn't want to pay to replace leather collars over and over. I know some owners avoid collars for this reason, but I like to know my dogs have tags on in case of emergency/escape attempts.
I found these online and they work perfectly! The first day I had them, he tried to grab the collar of my lab and it immediately popped off. Over the last week, he's actually stopped trying to grab collars because it doesn't work anymore.
The ONLY downside to these is that a PERSON cannot grab the collar, either. My dogs are fairly well behaved, but I tried to stop my large GSD from running out the front door to greet a friend and instinctively grabbed his collar. It did it's job -- popped right off. I wish they had slightly more strength; I didn't see a weight threshold listed, but I'd say maybe five lbs of pressure releases the safety -- I do not recommend using these if you have any control issues with your dog(s).

Rated 4 out of 5 by LauraAndRugby Premier keepsafe break-away collar
This collar does what it was designed to do--prevent strangulation. It is a safe, effective way to keep ID on your dog at all times. The collar holds its size well, even with a strong dog pulling on daily walks.
Keep in mind that the collar will break away whenever pressure is applied and no leash is attached. The release is strong enough for me to guide my dog by his collar, but not strong enough to hold if he pulls hard. This could be problematic if you unexpectedly need to restrain your dog, or if he got loose and a friendly stranger tried to hold on to him.
