One of these wheels came with our last mouse pair and immediately threw it out (didn't actually through it away, just didn't use it) and used the smallest silent spinner that we had purchased when we first started owning mice. To be honest, it was too small and we didn't have the money to buy a bigger one, not to mention that our girls liked chewing on it more than actually using it. So, I got the old wire one out again and cut up some scrap fleece to the right size and lined it in the wheel. Then I got some embroidery floss and sewed around the edges. It works perfectly!
My girls will actually run on it and there's no chance of them getting hurt, not to mention that it doesn't squeak so long as I oil it (pet safe vegetable oil) every few months! They don't chew on it either. c:
So long as you properly cover it up and get the appropriate size for your pet!

This is THE worst wheel I have ever bought in my entire life. It literally broke within five minutes of being in my cage for my gerbils. Wheel fell off the hinges. The mesh, where is connects, is sticking up and its just terrible. It is going back to the store.

I don't like this wheel at all. It is cheep, so I bought it as an extra wheel. Bad choice. It breaks very easily, and is terrible for my mouses feet, it kind of squished them. It doesn't roll very easily either, my mouse couldn't really get it going without getting bored and tired first.

I ordered the 8" wheel for my hamster. Though perfect size, the wheel came bent and crooked. There was no way my hamster would have been able to run on it, so back to the store it went.
