I bought this flexible bone for my boxer puppy and at first she loved it. She is a heavy chewer right now as she is teething and she chewed one end of this thing down to a nub. The material does break off into little pieces. Recently, I was just about to throw it away because it was so worn down and the next morning my poor pup threw up a big chunk of this rubber material! :( I was so upset to see my new puppy sick. I will not get her these flexible ones anymore. Unfortunately, she hasn't learned to love this brand's harder, non flexible bones yet.

have bought 3 of these for my dog. 2 large and 1 wolf size. my dog loved them. lasted her 1 month for the large and 3 months for the wolf. little pieces did flake off as was designed. lasted her much longer then any other chew toy I have bought her. would defiantly recommend this for your dog.

I have a 3lb, 11 month old chihuahua who just didn't understand that you can not chew on everything you see...OMG, it's like having a toddler in the house and with 2 teenagers in the house, who as you know do not pay attention to anything other than their electronics it is hard....all i ever heard was "look what she did to my shoes/sneakers....guess they should have been paying attention...lol...i bought this to see if i could get her to stop since putting her in time out didn't work and YES she now only chews on this...she absolutely loves it and the chicken flavor is a bonus...she sits for hours on end and carries it around the house...it has become her best friend and i have stopped hearing look what she did to my shoes/sneakers...i have peace at last and a very happy dog...
