Top Fin T-Rex Bubbler Aquarium Ornament
Fun but not durable
This thing is hilarious - well sculpted and painted and totally fun to watch in action. It takes a little doing to adjust the air hose angle and position to get just the right amount of bubbles, but that's not very difficult.
The bad part: the jaw hinges are simply 'nubs' that are part of the molded plastic and wear down over time. My t-rex only worked for a year or so before the top of his head fell off with no easy way to repair it. That being said, he was a lot of fun for the time we had him.

realistic, good quality, durable ... the shipped item, however is not a match to the on-line photo ... there are color and paint detailing differences, which probably would not matter to most buyers ... I already owned the version I was shipped; was looking for the different version as part of the design in an aquarium display ...

I was very excited when I saw this in the store because I knew it was going to match my other tank decor. But it only has one big bubble every few seconds and it scares my fish. The fish also get scared when the mouth closes because it makes a loud snap that you can also hear outside of the tank. I ended up taking the bubbler hose out of it and my fish still wouldn't go near it. If you want a good bubbler, I would not recommend this product.

the t-rex bubbler
After looking at this item several times, I finally decided to purchase it. I love it! It has alot of detail and several of my little fish like to swim right beside it. This bubbler is very entertaining, and is easy to set up, though you will need to raise the front alittle higher than the back, like by putting rocks under it to get the mouth to open and shut properly instead of it blowing bubbles out it's neck. Overall this is a very great product, I enjoy it, and am going to be buying many more bubblers! I would reccomend that if you buy this, whether you already have a pump or are getting one, that you get a splitter to limit the amount of air going to it to however low or high you want. I got a splitter because I wanted to power this off of the pump that I already had for my undergravel filter, so I got the splitter hooked the airlines from the pump to the splitter up, hooked the two undergravel bubble stones up, and finally my t rex bubbler, and it works perfectly, because it allws you to limit the amount of air going to it, whether you want it fast or slower you can do it with a splitter. Thanks for reading!
