Top Fin® 10Gal Aquarium Stand
Not the easiest assembly
I got this stand in preperation of getting a new 5.5g aquarium. I'll echo what others say about some flaws. The cam locks are an awful design. I've put together multiple do-it-yourself furniture and I've never seen a cam lock quite like this one. Most cams have a full size "cross" for easy access when tightening with a flathead. These have tiny little phillips head thingies and they have a small hole opposite it for no obvious reason. Have a flashlight handy because once you put the top on and then go to lock the cams you can not see the ones that are to the back. And yes there is some seperation between the back panels and the side panels. Just enough to see light. One plus is that the back panels are made out of the same material as everything else. Unlike every other DIY furniture that gives you a piece of board that is about 1/16" thick and a slew of nails. Once together it is a nice little stand. When I put a level to it it is 100% level on all sides and in the center. And it sits solidly on my carpet.

I bought this stand about 2 years ago and love it. It's the perfect size for us. This stand will hold up to a 10 gallon tank but we have just a 5 gallon tank on it next to our 30 gallon. It looks great and has held up nice. Love the extra storage too!

The cuts are not precise. Also ended up with slight spaces in the shelf area. Alone it took about an hour and a half assembly time. The cam locks are awful. The screw driver placement is off to one side instead of centered causing slight nicks around the hole and little leverage. Many of the pieces were not marked. Partition parts "F" has two holes each on opposite edges. Look closely because the holes on one edge (for dowels) are different sizes than the holes on the other edge (for screws). The instructions will not identify this difference. Dowels in the screw holes will cause the particle board to split. Holes are drilled in different locations and therefore will only line-up one way. Initial assembly seems sturdy but time will tell.

a bit short or would have given it 5 stars
this is a great stand! it's not 'intuitive' to put together, and i've built a lot of stuff. but it's great, sturdy, and having closed doors is needed with fish (lots of stuff to store).
i wish it was 3" taller is my only complaint..
