KONG® Off & On Squeaker Bone Dog Toy
Great Idea, not constructed as strong as kong!
I saw this the other day and thought this was just the ticket for our Catahoula Leopard dog who loves squeakers! It was spectacular for about 3 hours and then, as everyone else has found, the squeaker housing came off. And then the tennis ball material fell off, and then the entire squeaker came out, and next the bone was torn in half.
I have purchased many Kong products and have had no issue, this was a first. After looking at the back of the packaging, it says "not a chew toy"! Ok, now I'm lost. I figure a toy with a squeaker means that it is supposed to be chewed....I dunno maybe I was wrong.
Well it was $$$ lost in minutes, but this will not deter me from buying Kong gear in the future. I still believe their toys are better than most others. I will just be sure to buy the Extreme line from Kong, and make sure there is no fine print as to exactly what kind of toy it is.

Died within minutes
My puppy chewed on the switch for the squeaker until it died and then quickly ripped the fuzz off.

Most expensive garbage ever
I have always loved Kong products and have recommended the brand to friends with strong chewers. Yes, they tend to be pricey, but the durability was worth it.
However, I was very disappointed with this product! I bought 2 of these for Christmas, the largest one for my parents' dog and one size smaller for mine; they are both Boston Terriers. My parents' dog had the toy broken into pieces in less than 30 minutes, and my dog within an hour! Though quite a chewer, a Boston should NOT be able to tear apart a large Kong toy! Kong quality seems to be declining.

Did not stand test of time
I thought this would be a GREAT toy, my Havana Silk Dog devours toys in minutes, and I knew Kong was a great product. Also, the ability to turn the squeaker on/off was a great addition!
However, my Havana Silk Dog, Jude, tore out the squeaker and the on/off switch in a matter of HOURS! I really thought that being Kong this toy would finally last a little while. He is currently working on widening an already large hole on one end of the bone and we have had the thing for less than a week.
