Laurel Burch Cat Carrier
Cat Escapes Every Time!
I bought this pet carrier because I think it is so pretty, but sadly it turned out to be completely useless. The velcro is too weak, and the design of the zippers is poor. The zippers do not close the bag 100%, and there is the tiniest gap in the corners, where with just a little pressure from my cat's nose, she can unzip the bag and push open the velcro. Both my husband and I both tried numerous times to seal it to the point our cat could not escape, and it simply would not work. It was also difficult to put her in the bag because it collapses too easily, but I could have lived with that. However, it's useless if it can't container her at all. I was really sad to need to return it. Luckily, Petsmart is always so nice about returns and I bought a much better carrier the same day from them.

Doesn't hold my kitten!
It took my 13 week old rescue a whole 45 seconds to learn that if she pushed her head up against the opening end that she could undo the Velcro and push the zippers open. Cute carrier, just not for my cat that outsmarts everything, ever.

Great for adult cats!!
I just used this carrier today for first time, took my 19-yr-old cat to vet - worked even better than I expected :)) Better for an older cat, kits may be frightened because carrier has flex sides and is collapsible. My cat loved that I could touch/pet her thru the mesh, she could see out from more angles, was cooler/more air flow than regular hard plastic carrier, I loved it being very lightweight but with sturdy comfortable handles - and to cap it off, without thinking swung her over my shoulder when leaving vet, just like a large purse! SO great: HIGHLY recommended, but know your cat(s) and whether they will enjoy these features! Seems medium-hard to clean: just swipe with wet paper towel, but collapsible sides make it necessary to hold open at same time. A bit pricey but WELL worth it ~ Laurel Burch design after all :) I got mine on sale in-store, and just ordered 2 more, one for us and one for my mom and her cat :^D

Kitty hated it
While quite handsome, light weight etc. It simply stayed permanently collapsed on 3 month old kitten. She was too small to resist the collapsed walls and was kept in a semi crouched position.
With the mesh walls on all sides, I had thought she could stay in carrier and watch me do various household tasks while kept out of the way. She was too uncomfortable to get even close to that happening.
