CitraMax Cat Litter
I am allergic to gray-clay cat litters. So, natural litters work best for me. After having tried quite a few, I 've found that CitraMax works the best. Sure, if you do not like the smell of fresh cedar or orange peelings, it is not for you. But, if you do not mind woodland smells, and if you're looking for a non-scoop litter that keeps smells down, this is the one to try! Unfortunately, it is in very short supply. I've been trying to secure some for months. If you are a CitraMax fan like me, and know where to find some, please help me by responding to this review.
Cat owners, let's get this product back on store shelves.

No Tracking, Great Smell, Hides Odors Well
This is absolutely the BEST kitty litter we've ever used. It is made out of dried orange peels/rind and has a wonderful smell. It does a FABULOUS job of handling odors, much better than any other brand I've used. Although it is non-clumping, it is so easy to scoop out the solid waste. Any liquids get absorbed by the dried orange peels/rind; you can scoop the clump left behind by liquid waste if you are careful. I change my box every 3 weeks or so (adding a little fresh litter if needed). There is hardly any tracking. I can't think of any negatives except it is hard to find to buy it.

I have used this product for about 3 months now and couldn't be happier. I am still amazed at how there is absolutely no odor to the litter boxes. We keep the boxes in our bedroom and you would never know that they were there. It took a little while for my cats to get used to it but now they don't have any problems. I recommend mixing it with current litter, the transition will probably be better.

We're not going to the bathroom in THAT!!
Mom tried everything to trick us into thinking this was our new litter. She even put a layer of our old litter (slightly soiled) on top - telling us that the manufacturer suggested that we might like it better this way.....
WRONG! No way we were falling for this stuff! The last time I tried using something similar for my toilet, she got all upset with me! Of course, that was on the dining room table and I think she called it "poo-poo-ree", but I sure got into trouble for messing with it! And all I did was throw it around...???
This MIGHT have been good kitty litter, but since not a one of us three was willing to risk it, we will never know. Mom put it back in it's bag and threw it out with the trash... but not before our older brother used the carpet next to the box in an emergency. I wonder why he didn't get in much trouble for that?!?
But either way, we have our nice clumping litter back for now, although I did hear her talking to Dad about something called "crystals". I don't know about that. A crystal toilet just doesn't sound right, either. I guess time will tell.....
