Rated 2 out of 5 by Zofia I bought the 4.5 one for my winter white hamster, and even though it's a good size, she cannot start it on her own, which is bad, because she really enjoys it when she is able to use it, maybe when she gets a little older her weight will be able to start it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MamaToGus Too Stiff
Bought this wheel in 6.5 in for my Dwarf Hamster and it was too stiff for him to use. Tried using vegetable oil and loosening the screw a little but it just began to wobble and was still too stiff for him to move. I'm hoping its just a dud because it is completely silent when I spin it with my hand! Going to go in and try to exchange it soon. Make sure you test it with your hand to make sure it spins easily before buying!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by gibblesthehamster Chinese dwarf didn't use
I got the kaytee® silent spinner when I first got my Chinese dwarf hamster. When I put him in his cage he walk over to the wheel knowing what it was and tried running on the wheel but he couldn't and I just thought he was to young to run on the wheel. I gave him a week and he still didn't run on it so I went to my local pet store and got the super pet comfort wheel and now he'll run on the wheel all night.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MinnieLover 4.5" is TOO SMALL FOR MICE!!!
I recently purchased the Kaytee 4.5" Mini Silent Spinner wheel for my pet Fancy Mouse (female) named Minnie. She is an average sized mouse, however this wheel's diameter is TOO SMALL for her! The "silent" part of the product is true, it makes no sound when spun. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a wheel NO SMALLER than the medium sized 6.5" Silent Spinner if you are going to spend the extra money. Otherwise, purchase a cage that already includes a wheel! (CritterTrail!) They are just as good! Minnie is no longer frustrated while trying to exercise because I upgraded the size of her wheel!
