Super Pet® CritterTrail Dazzle
HATE THIS CAGE!
I have this exact cage; the only thing different about mine is that the wheel is actually a ball that is detachable so you can use it as a run around on the floor. I hate this cage. I have taken my hamsters out of it and put them in a Rubbermaid container and I like it better. The tubes are hard to detach in some places and are hard to clean. My little dwarfs like to bed in the overlook room at the top. They do all their business in there and it is difficult to get it out for cleaning. The cage is small, but that is ok if you have only one or two dwarfs in it. I would not put a standard teddy bear or Syrian hamster in it. If you detach all the tubes and use just the cage it may be ok, but that defeats the purpose of buying a Critter Trail. In the store, it is so cute, but at home, it is a disaster.

Not bad overall
I am 46 years old, and have purchased my first hamster. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a PetSmart employee.
The habitat offers everything my Syrian hamster could want, except the hideaway is lacking. The wheel seems to be an issue for other owners. My hamster left droppings and food in the wheel the first day. I cleaned it, and he seems to have learned from it. The wheel is not especially noisy, and overall the hamster seems happy.

Not a great product
Unfortunately, this has not lived up to our expectations. We purchased this just over 2 weeks ago. The hamster has escaped multiple times through the top hatch and a piece in the wheel broke within the first 3 days. We have another crittertrail habitat and it is great. This one looks amazing, the hamster loves it, but it just hasn't been very sturdy or safe for our pet.

This is my first time ever leaving a review on a product, But due to the fact that for the past 2 months all I have heard is my 2 gerbils chewing all the little plastic pieces inside the cage to shreds in the middle of the night, or the fact that as soon as they get into the cute little wheel on top it causes them to defecate little tiny turds, which in return scares them when the turds fall back on to them so they spend the next 2 hours running away from those little turds all the while pooping out more in fear, with the sounds of poo flying around in the wheel getting louder and louder. If the wheel actually stays in place and if no little turds are present it is a fairly quiet wheel, but sadly the wheel does not fit properly so you get the sounds of turds flying and plastic rubbing against plastic. NOT something that is A:) easy to fall asleep to even tho the cage is in a different room and B:) Not a good sound to wake up to... The first night we had the cage I thought Leatherface was in my house, about to kill me before I realized it was the little turds. In all reality, this is a terrible cage, that is NOT suited for ANY animal that chews...or poops for that matter. For the love of your sanity get your furry friend a cage with no plastic and no enclosed poo death trap!
