Scoop Free Ultra Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box
This is the BEST automatic litter box
I have two of these for 3 indoor cats. It took 2 of the cats a little while to get used to the sound, but they are all using the boxes now.
I don't throw the trays out, but instead just dump all the litter out once it has become urine saturated.
I refill the trays with Nature's Miracle crystal litter. One bag will fill two trays, so that is a substantial savings. Instead of $36, it costs me $15 to refill two trays.
When the trays finally get too used, I do replace them, but only about 3 times a year.

love but exspensive
I have 2 inside cats. Due to my living situation I've had to keep my cats in my bedroom. I have a very large bathroom. That is where I keep this litter box. The crystals still get all over the floor. I have the setting on 10 minutes. I am so happy that I don't have to clean a litter box on a daily basis. The litter tray is costly. As soon as I smell cat urine I change it. I set it so I know how many times they use it. I have to change it usually when it says 60-80. One of my cats isn't thrilled with it. I sometimes put a traditional litter box out too, and she prefers that one. Its costly but worth it. I feed 3 feral cats. Work full time. Anything that saves me extra work is a bonus. The box itself is also very sturdy. Not a piece of junk.

fair litter box
I did not like this litter box because the crystals that are used as litter for the box are terrible, even with a hood and the smaller cover on the end of the box, the crystals went everywhere. it wasn't just a few either, my cat stuck one paw in and at least 30 could come out stuck to his one paw. That's not the biggest problem with that because everyone knows litter will sometimes get outside the box on the floor so I overlooked that until I stepped on the crystals that had come out onto the floor. they hurt your feet too much to leave them on the floor for any amount of time. even when I thought I'd swept it all up, there would be one left because not only are there tons that come out of the box with the cat, they are very tiny which makes it seem like a miracle to get them all up at one time or even two times. So I'd step on them over and over and cause my feet more pain. so I threw away the crystals and used my own litter, that worked better. Ultimately I stopped using it because I cannot afford replacing the disposable box at such a high rate, which is the very least 3 times a week and really it should be more, I just can't afford it. There just seemed like no good solution to make this product worth the time and money
