MARINELAND® 3 Gallon Crescent Aquarium System
I originally had the Top Fin 1.7 gallon hexagon tank for my betta. I then became obsessive, reading everything I could about betta care and tank size and convinced myself that 1.7 was just too small, even though Finegan was quite playful.
I truly believe that 5 and 10 gallons are too big for one betta, the forums are very scary, and this 3 gallon tank is PERFECT!
I quickly put it together and after the fact read that the filter has a low-high setting. I found the filter extremely quiet as in no sound at all but Finegan wasn't swimming around. I thought the lights were too bright, I thought the tank was too big but it was the filter. It was on the high setting. I lowered it all the way and Finegan is just as happy as he was before.
I do have a 7.5 watt heater which keeps the tank at a perfect 80degrees. The lights are perfect, the size is perfect and the filter is definitely whisper quiet as the name indicates. I cannot stop staring at this aquarium and should have done this years ago.

Love this tank
I upgraded my betta from a bowl to a 1.2 liter to this 3 gallon tank. I was planning to get another brand tank, but this one was on sale, so I thought I would give it a try. First of all, the cosmetic appeal. It's a beautiful tank. I could see my fish very well from all angles. The LED lighting is nice. The Whisper filter is very quiet and keeps the tank water clear. There are 2 settings for the filter, which is great, high and low. I have mine on the lowest setting as my betta prefers it low. The filter does not take up a lot of the tank space. There is a nice top, which is clear, another good quality, so I can see down the tank, and not obscured by a big black top. There is also a cut out in the top in which you can drop food down. My betta is so happy that it started building a bubble nest for the first time since I moved it out of his bowl. I would highly recommend this tank. I have 3 of them, which shows how much I love it. I want more bettas, but I am running out of room for tanks.

Good so far!
We got this today for an upgrade. I felt like garbage for keeping Bob in a 1.5g when he should have a 3g minimum for his size. (1 inch of grown fish per gallon!!!) The filter takes up a little too much space and I'm debating using the smaller Whisper I had on my other tank but the adjustable flow makes the current just right. Will update after more usage.

Good value for the price
I purchased this 3 gal. tank because I wanted my beta to have a little more space. This tank replaced a 2 1/2 gal. tank.
It was very easy to set up. The filter seems a little too large for the tank, but otherwise it works very well. It has 2 adjustable speeds. It's not too noisy either.
Fish has a little more room and seems happy, also I can observe him better because this tank has a clear top, unlike the other tank.
Glad I purchased it.
