Arm & Hammer® Advanced Pet Care Tarter Control Baking Soda Infused Dog Bone
Terrible, dogs wouldn't touch it, and STINKS!!
This product was so bad that I created an account here just to leave this review.
Neither of my dogs would touch this at first... and I don't blame them. It stinks!! My boyfriend thought the cats had peed somewhere. After my puppy decided she would chew on it, she destroyed it into tiny pieces within seconds... "strong and durable"... yeah, right! Definitely a choking hazard. To make matters even worse, chewing on it made the smell even more pungent... We just ended up tossing it before my puppy choked on the tiny pieces she was chewing off. We'll stick with C.E.T. chews from now on.

Bone lasted 2 minutes - teeth not cleaned!
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this product. My dog is a 2 year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix. He has never been a powerful chewer. We've never had furniture or shoes chewed up. Never had him chew a toy to pieces. Until now. This bone was destroyed in a matter of minutes. We purchased this product hoping he would gnaw on it to gradually work on the tartar buildup on his back teeth. No chance of that happening. It broke apart into small pieces and little nubs of it were everywhere. My dog never experienced the "grinding action" advertised on the packaging because he tried to swallow the tiny pieces of the broken bone instead. Don't waste your money.

My pup loves to chew on things (but luckily only his toys). This is the first item I got him that was not chewed to bits though I suspect that may be in part due to the fact that he doesn't chew on it. At all. Despite the fact that the beef smell is so strong that it makes the whole room smell, my dog has never once shown more than a casual interest in it.
Good idea but for some reason, it was not attractive to my pup.
