Top Fin® RTA Aquarium Stand
Worst tank stand I have ever used, seen or even heard of. We also bought the garbage Top Fin 55 gallon kit and the cheap filter leaked on the stand the first day and the stand literally peeled like paper - lasted ONE DAY - TOTAL GARBAGE.

Not anywhere near the quality expected.
Yes I assembled it but in doing so I discovered the very, very poor quality of fiberboard used in its construction. The top of the stand is its only saving aspect. The structural integrity is weak because of the lack of braces and screws that could easily have improved it are not provided. Plastic handles, miss-aligned doors, a paper panel as a cover to the rear center section, shame. I replaced the single point hinges, with recessed cabinet hinges. I added just 12 new fiberboard fasteners to the assembly and an additional 10 "L" shaped braces to provide greater rigidity. I have placed a lot of time bringing it up to good engineering standards and I feel satisfied that it will hold the 55 gallon tank I intend to put on it, now that I have made the changes. Yep I'm keeping it. But, I do so now with my understanding of structure engineering improved this stand significantly and I can now qualify it as safe.
