Male Anoles are very dominant and territorial. They show their dominance by
bobbing their heads and flaring their dewlap. These behaviors are intended to
intimidate other Anoles. The loser of the confrontation retreats to a different
territory. Male Anoles may even react to their own reflection in a mirror.

Feeding amounts & frequency
Offer food once daily to every other day. Offer only enough to
be consumed by the end of the day.
Anoles will drink from a shallow dish and lick moisture from their skin; mist
your pet every other day with warm water. Water bowls should be emptied and
10-gallon (18-20" tall) or larger terrarium for
a single Anole. A larger terrarium is needed if housing multiple animals. Taller
