Scoop Away® Complete Performance Multi-Cat Clumping Cat Litter
my cat started to urinate outside the litter box and i thought i was going to go crazy. i changed the litter to scoop away and he doesn't have any more problems. it clumps really tightly so it doesn't break apart and smell. it has a strong perfumey smell but in my opinion that's good. the box is always fresh smelling after i scoop it. i know someone said that their cat smells perfumey when he comes out of the box but i like it. i think he smells great. it's better than smelling like urine!

Dusty but great
our six year kitty had recently begun flinging out the litter we'd been using for awhile - Fresh Step - even in the hooded litter box. So we tried the crushed walnuts - that stuff was terrible, and not only flung all over the laundry room, but tracked EVERYWHERE. So several different brands later, here i am experimenting with Scoop Away. 48 hours, no flinging. It is truly very very dusty when you dump it in the litter box but that resolves quickly. She immediately went into the box, used it, didn't fling it out the door, and is not tracking it all over the house! I have spent several hours sweeping up crushed walnuts and blue and white crystals that really crunch under your feet as well as other tiny pellets from various brands of litter! we don't have any carpet, and i would hate to think about all that stuff crushing into carpet! Our stone floors are easy to sweep and mop, but every little crunch was evidence of cat activity and it was easy to see which counters in the kitchen she had walked on (all of them, duh).
This Scoop Away is DUSTY, seems to control odor and is easy to clean as needed - for someone who isn't home all day, it would still be a good choice for their kitty!

Best litter Ive used!
After reading a bunch of reviews on this product, both positive and negative, I decided to try it for myself. I was currently using Arm and Hammer Multiple Cat and Within hours after changing the litter all 3 of my boxes smelled terrible. I decided to do a test and I emptied out and cleaned the biggest, most used litter box, which also happens to be in the highest traffic area, right next to the front door and put the Scoop Away in that box and leave the other two boxes with the Arm and Hammer. By the end of the day, the two boxes that are used the least smelled terribly, I still smelled nothing from the box with the Scoop Away. I left it for a week, (I normally wouldnt have left it that long, but I went away on vacation, and the person I got to come feed them was uncomfortable with the scooping boxes) By the end of the week, The box with the Scoop Away still didnt smell, but the other boxes were absolutely unbearable. I smelled a slight smell while scooping out the Scoop Away but nothing like what I smelled with the other boxes. This is absolutely the best litter for odor control and clumps great. After scooping the box, the litter looks like new. The Scoop Away is much more dusty and super perfumed, but id rather smell the perfume than the deposits in the box. So as long as you dont mind the dust and perfume of the Scoop Away this is absolutely the best litter when it comes to odor control. I have tried every other litter and this was by far the best.

Heavy dust, strong perfume
I got this based on good reviews, have to say I'm stunned people like it as much as they do. It's extremely dusty and STRONGLY perfumed, makes my cat sneeze, and sets off a cloud of dust every time I clean or he uses the box. Dust and specks track everywhere, I always know where the cat has been! Worst, the dust settles into my cat's coat, giving him a strongly perfumed smell - and comes off on my hands when I pet him, making my hands smell, too - and I can feel it, have to wash them afterwards. Plus, some of the grains got stuck in his coat when it was a little bit wet, and they melted like glue - I had to cut it out. Into the waste can this litter goes, I'm going back to Precious Cat Ultra Scoop, no dust and no perfume, and no mess or fuss.
