Grannicks Bitter Apple Spray
Wonderful, effective product
My cats like to eat my plants which they then puke up all over the house. Not anymore. I spray this on my plants lightly and they stay away and it hasn't harmed my plants. I have to re spray about every two weeks.
Reading some other reviews, I think I will try it on my Saint Bernard's legs because he licks them compulsively until they hurt. Didn't know you could put it right on the animal.

Worth a try
I have had mixed success with product. I was trying to prevent two 60+ pound mastiff/pit mixes from chewing on their bedding at night while I slept. After a few weeks one of the dogs has not chewed on her bedding while the other is continuing to rip holes in her bedding. Basically the one dog tolerates the taste of the spray much better unless it is freshly and very heavily applied. The success of the product will vary from dog to dog as one should expect.

We have a 5'ish yr. old rescued large breed dog who we strongly suspect had a bad past. Hr obsessively licks his legs/paws until, at times, raw. Grannick Spray slows him down for approx. 4 hrs. We think it's been used in his past & may be so used to it that it doesn't work much better.

My dog was constantly licking his leg until it was raw. We had to keep him in a cone most of the time so it would heal. Got this product, sprayed it on his favorite leg & the licking immediately stopped. Then he started on the next leg, so started spraying all four legs, once in the morning & once at night - problem solved. Have been using for a week. I skipped the process this morning & no licking yet today. Hopefully this has broken the habit, but if not I know what to do: repeat until the non-licking habit is firmly entrenched.
