GNC PEts L-Lysine Soft Cat Chews
Great supplement product
I bought these because my Himalayan is having sinus issues, brought on by what the vet thinks is a herpes flare up. I didn't want to deal with messy powder or try to force-fed her tablets. These are a great product, disguised as a treat. They also have a better dose of l-lysine than most comparable brands. The only downside is that my cat is extremely picky, and won't eat them! I have to take one chew and cut it up into tiny pieces and scatter them on top of her food. What she doesn't know won't hurt her ;)

They actually LIKE them!
My two Himmies have issues with the Herpes virus. It usually is dormant and everything is fine but occasionally we have a flare up and sometimes it can be a doozy. Right now one is sneezing his head off. I bought some of these thinking it would be another waste of money but they LOVE them! So easy to get their supplement down. I have used the powder in the past but they don't always get a full dose that way. These are great. They're expensive but I think I'll stock up.

Our three kittens are dealing with FVR and the vet gave us a tube of L-Lysine gel supplement to use with them. Stuff smells funky like bad fake maple syrup. They hate it on their food, they hate it on their paws. Giving them the supplement was a wrestling match and no fun for anyone.
We decided to try these treats and they LOVE them. They purr the second the scent hits their little noses and the only hard part is making sure someone doesn't eat a sibling's dose, too. We cut the treats in half and give each of them a half treat twice a day. This equals the dosing the vet prescribed in the gel.
We're thrilled that we can give our kittens the nutritional support they need without stressing everyone out!

I have a cat with FIV and I choose to give her L-Lysine supplements. This is a quick and easy way to get the 250mg that is recommended daily when healthy, and 500mg when symptoms appear.
She is not a big eater when it comes to treats, but she does eat these just fine. One Bag lasts 2 months when giving 250mg daily(one treat per day).
