Precision Pet Soft Sided Dog Crate
A good crate, but doesn't hold up to abuse
I'm a SAR dog handler, so my dog spends a lot of time in my car, in his crate. This is the only crate I could find that would fit into the back of my Prius (the 23x24x36 size squeezes in exactly, with the rear 2/3 seat folded down), which is why I bought it. It's a well-designed product, but hasn't withstood the test of time, and my dog, a very clever high-drive 60-lb wire-hair labradoodle (who very quickly figured out how to open the zippers with his nose, requiring me to tie them together to prevent him from escaping); after a year of heavy use, the side door zipper, which opens out the hatchback of my car, has blown out completely and needs to be replaced/repaired. Admittedly, my nose probing doodle has put undue stress on the zippers, but I would have expected to get more than a year out of the crate, given its price. Make this product with higher-quality, more durable zippers, and I will consider buying another.

This was just what I was looking for. The structure is very sturdy, no fear of it collapsing. The look of it is stylish and clean. I got the 42" long, x-large size to temporarily house my full-grown kitty cat as well as a good size litter box, a small square foam sleeping pad and her food/water bowls, with enough spare room for her to walk round or lay down and stretch. The crate also comes with a comfy foam pad that covers the entire base of the crate, which she loves stretching out on.

We bought this because our rescue dog was afraid to ride. Because she was hit by a car before we adopted her, she hates cars and hates to ride in them. We thought if she couldn't see the traffic then she wouldn't be as nervous.
We bought a larger size than for her weight so she has room for a blanket and her toys. We laid a thin blanket over the top so it comes down on each side. It worked! Now when she gets in the car she immediately goes into her "house".

Decent travel crate
This is one of two soft sided crates we use for travel and agility. It's a standard soft-sided crate, but it's more difficult to assemble then the other one that I have. The interior poles have to be forced in a bit (connecting to one another, not forced into the fabric) because it's really a perfect fit the way the poles interlock together. Also, I bought the right size for my dog, but it's not as tall as the other soft sided we have and my dog tries to poke her head up through the mesh in the top to see whats going on around her. I do like that two of the sides aren't mesh, however, so she can only see through the two sides that I want her to. It's also sturdy once assembled, which is important.
Quality-wise, we've had this for over a year without any problems. My dog is full crate trained and I would bet a dog who's not could get out of any of these types of crates, but we've had no problems. Great product overall, I just wish the dimensions were a little taller and the poles were easier to put together.
