Great first reptile for any age (above 10)
I purchased my Leopard Gecko at Petsmart in July of 2012, I originally had her in a 10-gallon with repti-carpet substrate and them moved her to a 29-gallon with calcium sand. These reptiles are easy to care for, fun to handle, and very easy to train. Geckos, especially Leopard Geckos, don't make any noise and are extremely docile and beautiful animals. My Gecko is a female and her name is Luna.

I really like my leopard gecko, he's active and cool to watch. The only complaint is that he smells odd, but that is a price you have to pay for a cool pet!

I bought a baby yesterday and he is not eating, he bit me the next day and all he does is sleep, and even though he is nocturnal, he still sleeps during night, I don't know what to do. :(

Awesome, amazing pet
I got a leopard gecko on June 1st,2014 and he is so cool looking. That's why I like them because each one has a different unique pattern. They are great pets if you are a beginner and don't have a lot of experience with reptiles. The rarely never bite. And they are easier to handle than other geckos. They eat live insects so if you don't like that you shouldn't get a leopard gecko. They are good for older children older than 10 years old. They do not smell at all and they need a 10 gallon tank to start with and a 20 gallon tank for their adult form. They do she'd their skin but they do need humidity and warm temperature to do it correctly. They do eat their own skin so don't worry about picking up their own skin. They are the most common gecko to get for pet. They live 20 years with right care. They have eye lids other geckos don't but leopard geckos do. Thanks for reading my review I hope you like your leopard gecko:) Geckos For Life :)
