Natural Defense® Flea & Tick Squeeze-On Cat Treatment
Horrible smell & didn't work
My 2 yr old indoor only cats got fleas for the 1st time. I comb them everyday & noticed what looked like sand on them. I found only 1 live flea on 1 cat & 2 on the other. I bought this product because it was natural. 1st off the smell was horrible, I could smell it in my house for days. 2nd as soon as I put it on them they started running around crazy. 3rd wherever they sat would be a oily grease stain that would have to be washed. I followed all of the instructions & I have used topicals on my dog. It didn't do anything to get rid of the fleas or the eggs from hatching. Within a few days they I found 4 more live ones. Even though the instructions say it kills immediately. I treated my home, washed everything in hot water & bought carpet treatments. I then tried Advantage II & in one dose I could not find anything on them & they didn't behave crazy or leave any stains. No smell either. It's been 1 week & I haven't found anything on either one of them.

All natural. No chemicals to maybe do harm to your pet. Yes the smell can be pretty bad but we can stand it knowing it will do no harm to them. We live in TX and the fleas here are really bad here. It helps a lot.

My 2 indoor cats have never had fleas & I only found a couple on them. I used this because it was natural. The smell alone lasted for days & now 2 weeks later I can still smell it on them. It smells like a burning Christmas tree. Wherever they laid there were be an oil stain when they got up. I didn's see any for a few days but now I just pulled of 2 live fleas. I followed the directions & combed them with the flea comb after waiting 2 days, I treated the house too along with their bedding etc. I'm not happy!

Seems to help
Product seems to help. Have been using it in conjunction with other products. However it does not seem as effective as other products such as shampoo, carpet powders, and pills.
