KONG® Cat Roller Treat Dispenser Cat Toy
Fun product that keeps my cat entertained
I have read a lot about keeping cats entertained and helping them work for their food, so I thought this would be a fun toy for my cat. He loves it - bats it all around the house. The only complaint I have is that the treat hole is pretty big, so he always gets treats when he touches it. I wish it was a little smaller to make it slightly more difficult to get the treats out. I will put 5-6 in at a time, and he gets them out within a couple of minutes.

good concept but....
sturdy, but the design allows too much to be released at one time. It intrigues the cat for 30 seconds because of the dumping of tidbits. Needs to be another mechanism or blockage to prevent this. Also cats rolled it under furniture and can't locate it now!

My cat is a very fat 12 year old. Some time ago I bought a pouch of Temptations which acted like crack on Bear. He kept whacking me on the leg and meowing so piteously that I had to put them away.
When I got the Kong I filled the inner well with Temptations and rolled it toward him. He licked it but when that didn't work ignored all further attempts.
I rolled it in front of him until several treats fell out-which he ate. But he seemed to believe that this was magic only I could accomplish-no grasp of cause and effect whatsoever !
The next day, however,I found it empty. I have to buy more treats to experiment any further.
The Kong is brilliant-rolling it lines up tumblers like safe cracking but without the stethoscope. I'm sure a normal cat would be thrilled at the opportunity of an interactive reward-great idea ! Mine ,it just happens ,and I say this with great affection,is a fat fool

I have three cats and I wanted to do something nice for them. I bought this treat dispenser about two weeks ago and it has worked wonders for my cats. Even if it isn't filled with treats we sometimes put cat food in it and it works just the same. Even if it's empty they will still knock it around and play with it as if it was a normal ball. This is an amazing find!
