MARINELAND® Natural Daylight Fluorescent Aquarium Lamp
Had a 15w Incandescent light, like the one our Maineland Eclipse 5 came with, but it was heating up the aquarium too much during the day when it was 85 degrees outside. Read about this light, the ratings/reviews for it and decided to get it.
It REALLY brings out the color of our betta, the green on the leafs of our live plants and the black gravel. As soon as I put it in, I was so impressed I ran and got my wife to look at the aquarium. I was absolutely BEAUTIFUL looking!!

Love my Marineland Pro350
I wish it was easier to break the suction to remove lid to change/clean filter. I am 69 years old and feel like this requires more strength than I have. I use 2 or 3 large flat screwdrivers and it is still a lot of work.

Nice WHITE Light
I recently purchased the topfin 5.5 starter kit from petsmart.com and was very pleased with it, except for the light. The bulb in comes with is incandescent (the 2 pack for 3$ you can buy separately on the sight as well). The problem is that it made my fish tank look very yellow. I spent extra on this light because i thought it would be white and it is and it makes the tank look very nice. Even though it is only 10 watts, it is much much brighter then the 15w incandescent and fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this light. In short, FLORESCENT LIGHTS ARE WHITE, INCANDESCENT LIGHTS ARE YELLOW. This light is florescent.
