CaribSea Flora Max Planted Aquarium Substrate
Nice substrate. easy to clean. Looks great. We will see how long it lasts. After 4 days new growth of 2 inches on swords, and new runners on crypts. I do add CO2 and ferts.
Saved all of my plants from a disaster that was another substrate.

I love this rock. I was going to buy another planted aquarium gravel, but decided to get this instead. I bought 60 lbs of gravel for my planted 55 gallon aquarium. (4 packages) It says to pre-wash the rock, but I didn't and it wasn't even really cloudy. There are clarifying packets in the gravel which help keep the dust thrown up from the water from clouding the view (2 of 4 of mine were broken), and they worked wonderfully. My plants are greener and perkier than they have been in a while!

Plant growing substrate
This is a great product for growing plants, it can be topped with black sand, or mix it in with kitty litter to make a complete eco system for the plants. I don't wash the substrate, it clears up with a few water changes...

Cheapest Substrate on the market and does the job!
I keep 5 different aquariums. I have this substrate in my 20 gallon long and will be filling my 55 gallon with it as well. It is a great substrate and does the exact same thing as Eco-complete but of a fraction of the cost! I took advantage and bought every bag they had online during their sale. I recommend this substrate for any planted aquarium and even for unplanted aquariums! It looks great and makes your fish and plants colors really pop! So if you ever see that they have it in stock you better grab every bag of it!!! Cheap as it will get!
I only docked a star because I don't like how the original has small brown crushed up rocks in it. You can't get the midnight in stores either because it's only online or they sell it the second it gets back in stock. So I docked a star because of that.
Overall its a great substrate for the price and will be great for any aquarium and do the exact same thing as any other substrate!
