I would really want to know if my dog would benefit from the formula in these chews, but after a couple of days of messing with them, I'll never know, because I'm throwing them away...$35...ouch. My dog will not eat them, they aren't that chewable for one thing, and I've tried putting them in peanut butter and hot dogs...two of her favorite foods. The chews say 'beef flavored', but I don't care what flavor they are, they need to be a flavor my dog won't spit out, and need to be a consistency you can hide in other foods. I can melt them in the microwave and sort of stir the stuff in a gravy, but I decided that is too much work! After the pain it is to unwrap them, then to make gravy and melt them, why should I have to work so hard to make up for the fact that a company can't make them appealing to dogs (or MY dog anyway), how hard can that be? Dogs aren't THAT picky! Why not make a tasty powder or liquid that is easily added to food, OR has no objectionable flavor so it is transparent to the dog? Like I said, $35 down the tubes.....

Bought these for my three dogs. My oldest dog can't chew them even when I softened them in the microwave. The other two have a hard time as well if I don't soften them first. The wrappers are hard to get off.

I use these daily for my 16 year old Jack Russell and they have made a huge difference, we also give them daily to our show alaskan malamutes! The best glucosamine/joint supplement we have found ! I like the caramel like chews because they do not get hard like some of the other chewables do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PCRCSTX These are awful for an older dog.
First of all these treats are individually wrapped. They are not easy to unwrap. They are like a caramel and very hard for my dog to chew. She is an older dog, that's why we bought this. She did not like them at all. Personally I do not understand why you would make something like this for a dog.
