I bought this for my German Shepherd who had just been neutered a few days ago. I thought it would be a nice alternative to the plastic collar he received at the vets office. Within 5 minutes of putting on this collar, I noticed him licking at his surgery site. Very disappointed. Will have to return the product to the store.

Mine got a hole in it also. Tried to fix it but nothing worked. I finally stuffed it with artificial snow blanket for Christmas decorations. Works perfectly. Pillow stuffing would work too. Hope this helps someone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeka best thing I've bought for under $30 dollars
my Doberman pup just had his ears cropped and was not recommended to wear the traditional plastic cone because the can press down on the ears preventing them from standing upright. While I read no reviews about using this with ear cropping I decided to give it a try and it is amazing. My pup is very comfortable and if it is fitted accurately (make sure to get the right size nothing too big) it stays on. He can't reach it even with his enormously long legs. It also does not press down on the ears or bandages which is a plus he actually scratches at them much less. Would recommend to anyone, it definitely saved me my sanity!

by Elevencats Best $25 I ever spent.
One of my dear eleven cats was sent home from surgery wearing a plastic cone to prevent him from licking his wound. He was in sheer torture..couldn't eat, drink, use the litter pan unless I removed the cone first. I researched & found this inflatable collar. Wow..what a difference. My cat can do everything as usual except lick his stitches on his rear end. Thank the Lord for this collar. Easy to put on, adjustable velcro closure. My cat weighs 13 lbs, neck measures 9 inches and size small was perfect.
