My 30 Lb Shiba Inu was easily able to pry the bars apart on this crate that we have had for nearly 2 weeks. For the price I paid for this crate I would have hoped for something a little more heavy duty.

I really like this crate. It gives my dog room to stretch out and the fact that the doors open up, rather than out, has really helped to conserve space (which was necessary when I upgraded his crate).
The only reason I didn't rate this crate as excellent was due to the initial setup. I found the crate difficult to unfold because it seemed to be caught on the included divider. Not only that, but while I struggled to open it, the clasps that hold the walls together had sharp edges that kept snagging on my jeans.

I have a 29lb beagle/Doxie mix... He has separation anxiety and has chewed through composite crates and broken other metal crates into pieces. He has already bent the bars and I have to zip tie the crate shut so he can't get out because otherwise he can lift the gate up. I wish I didn't spend the $ on anther piece of junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KarlaPB Horrible Door Design-Not Escape-Proof
The sliding metal gates were horribly designed. Its nearly impossible to keep our Shepherd/Akita mix in the cage while closing the door. He spent all of a few minutes in the cage before busting out. The door was pushed off the sliding track, laying on the floor. The doors were properly installed by us and the gate was secured. We are returning the cage and looking for something escape proof and easier to maneuver while trying to secure the dog in the cage. Very poor product for the price......
