I purchased this bed for my son, Petey, who will be 13 years old come November. My main concerns for shopping for an orthopedic bed were type of filling, quality, and size. This bed is gel filled instead of the 'egg foam' or 'multi layer foam'. Because Petey loves to rearrange anything he sleeps on to his random specifications, I feel the gel foam is less likely to become damaged or worn out compared to the others. To give it an added layer of protection, I cover all of my kids beds with sheets or blankets. The size is perfect for a small dog. It provides room for them to stretch out while getting relief from their aches and pains; However, I think this size would be a bit too small for a medium sized dog. The quality is top notch, especially for the price. In my opinion, this is a 10☆ bed.

We bought this for our puppy because it felt soft like memory foam and stated it was memory foam. However, the first time we pulled the cover off, we quickly realized the "memory foam" is shreds of foam, not one solid piece. And it's not the soft "gel" foam either, it feels like Styrofoam. Not to mention it is a pain to get the cover back on since there are 2 pieces! We ended up buying a real orthopedic bed elsewhere and love it much more!

I purchased this bed about 1 year ago. It is very difficult to keep clean since you have to unzip the entire bed to wash it and then put it all back together.
The foam simply became hard little pebbles inside the cushion and I just threw the whole thing away. I would never buy another one.

I bought this when it was on sale around Christmas time and it's amazing. Cocoa loves it, I can tell because he chooses that over the couch. Sometimes he has sleep overs with his sister Tiny. :)
