Top Fin Frosted Seaglass Aquarium Decoration
Lovely to look at, frustrating to clean
This product looks lovely, especially in a well-lit tank. None of the glass edges are sharp in the least, which was my biggest concern. I don't think I could cut myself or my fish with them if I was actively trying. However, you have to think carefully about what gravel or other substrate to pair this with, since it is transparent glass, and the other material does show through. Using it by itself isn't really an option either, since it will readily show everything gravel is normally present to hide (ie, all of the fish poo).
My biggest problem with it, though, came when I had to do a 100% water change. Because it is transparent, it's difficult to find among other gravel, and if you don't pick all of it out to put it back on top, it will essentially vanish into the rest of your substrate never to be appreciated again. All of the little pieces took us a good twenty minutes to find, and that's with only one bag of this.
Overall, though, if you don't plan on doing too many big water changes, it's a lovely addition to the tank.
