Toys R Us Rope Leg Bug Squeaker Dog Toy
This is our 4 year Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's most favorite toy. He got it for his 3 yr birthday last December. Toby bit the nose off of it during the first week and got the squeaker out but I sewed those up tightly and it is still going strong. This toy has gone with us and Toby some 6,000+ road miles in the past 8 months. He carries it to bed with him each night as well as drags it around the house some. Many times he'll sleep with his head on it. I have had to rebraid the ropes some but they are mostly there. Toby is a chewer so this has been quite the test for him to keep a toy this long. It is getting pretty ragged now and I'm going to have to break down and buy a new one - actually, I'm going to buy a couple because I'm afraid of them being discontinued! My husband and I named this toy "Bugs" and Toby knows it by name. This dog toy has lasted the longest of any dog toy I've ever bought and I've had dogs since 1978. If one expects this toy to "look" like new after a dog has chewed on it and carried it around, then they will be disappointed - Toby's "Bugs" looks like it's been enjoyed and Toby is happy!

In less than 10 minutes, my medium size 2-year-old dog had the stuffing out, and was chewing on a plastic squeaker. At $10 each, this is a pretty expensive toy if you need a new one every day. We have toys that she has chewed on for many days which, though ragged, are still intact. It was made in China, and she attacked it as if it had some canine version of catnip.
