KONG® Classic Treat Dispensing Dog Toy
Durable, keeps pup busy for hours!
We have several of these for our 9 month old lab pup. I fill them with different concoctions I've found online and some I've made up. I fill them and freeze them. When we are gone for several hours, he stays in his kennel, but he knows he gets the treat and can't wait to get into the kennel. They keep him busy for hours. He gets to chew on them once they're empty until time to wash them. Wash, fill, freeze, repeat. One happy pup!

While I haven't used the special treats for inside of it, we fill the Kong with treats, dry dog food, cheese and raw fruit and vegetables to keep our collie occupied when we are all away from home for awhile. She can't wait for us to leave and get to the treats inside. When I am home she is allowed to chew on it without treats and sometimes we use it to play fetch indoors. (Think bull in a china shop and you'll have that picture correct.) I have purchased the canned filling but haven't tried it since I read so many reviews about the mess it creates-not sure I want to come home to that so perhaps she'll have that as an outside treat sometime while I'm gardening. For the adventurous, there are many "recipes" online for what you can put into it and how to use it. I recommend having at least 2 if you're gone often. Best part is that they're dishwasher safe! They need to be because otherwise I'd never get it clean!!

not for long periods of time
BUY the sweet potato cream to put inside , i tried to put regular treats in kong and my dog don't even use it. when i put the sweet potato cream inside he loved it, only until the cream was gone. He did not continue to play with it or chew on kong.

We bought this for our dog and it was nothing in 15 minutes I do not recommend this product see our dog is a pit bull and he's nice so instead of buying him this kong we bought him some racquet balls and it has lasted us 3 or 4 years now!
