BLUE Basics™ Limited Ingredient Dog Food
We love it!
After discovering that I have a gluten allergy and my fiance has a brown rice allergy, we set out to find a dog food with neither glutens or brown rice. BLUE Basics Salmon Canned Dog Food fit our criteria, so we decided to give it a try. Our dogs absolutely love them, and my fiance and I no longer have reactions when our dogs lick our faces! We will continue using BLUE Basics Salmon Canned Dog Food, and we are also going to try BLUE Freedom (Grain-Free) soon. If you are wondering about trying another dog food, definitely go with BLUE! PetSmart and BLUE, my fiance, Pit Bull, Rottweiler and I all thank you!

My toy breed puppy, Zoey, has a very sensitive stomach and is an extremely picky eater. We've tried some many different commercial foods but the only thing she would eat was scrambled eggs, ground beef and cottage cheese. That was before we tried Blue Buffalo Basic; she loves the dry Turkey and Potato and the wet Salmon and Potato. It was so good to see her eating her food willingly.
Thank you, Shayla in Puyallup, for recommending Blue Buffalo. You are true a Life Saver!

Only canned I buy
Our dog Andy, has food allergies that are very bad, he gets skin lesions from them. His vet said feed him only salmon, no grains or chicken or anything other than fish and potatoes preferably sweet potatoes. Blue Buffalo was recommended. I am so pleased with this Blue Buffalo basic Salmon, Andy loves it, I also feed him Blue Buffalo dry Salmon and Sweet potato, he love it too. I love Petsmart, they are always so helpful and kind. If you have a family member, yes our dog is a family member, that has sensitive skin or tummy I beg you to try this brand and this flavor you will not be sorry. The taste and texture seems to be the one he loves. I also can put his salmon oil capsule in this and his allergy meds and he gobbles them right down! Thanks for trying them and thank you Petsmart for carrying this brand!

Not for my dogs
I was very disappointed in this food. I have one dog with stomach issues, the other a stomach made of steel. I don't feed them wet food all the time since it's quite expensive, but I do here and there when they're being good and I feel like spoiling them. Well, I decided to try this food based on the quality of the brand and the ingredients list. I don't understand what went wrong!
Between 2 meals they each had about half a can yesterday mixed in with their dry food (not much for 60-70 lb. dogs). They loved it. Then again, they love ANY wet food. But as I was going to bed, they were farting up a storm in there! It was so bad I had to sleep with the covers over my face. I woke up this morning, and it hadn't gotten any better. In fact, my normally not-a-morning-dog dogs were up and clambering to go outside and the one with the sensitive tummy had some diarrhea. Poor gal.
I wouldn't NOT recommend this product though. It's a brand with a stellar reputation and the ingredients are wholesome and natural and seem to work well with other dogs. Just not mine. :(
