Rated 5 out of 5 by Fishdude25 Awesome Heater!! If it's used right
I have a 3.5 Gallon Aquascene Aquarium for my Crowntail Male Betta Fish. I was a little hesitant on purchasing this heater, especially after I read the reviews. I was going to return just to be safe as many people say their water temperature spikes to 90 degrees and cooks the betta but I thought I would put the heater in for a day prior to adding the fish and it works great. My Betta loves it so much! My tank is at a stable 78 degrees perfect for my fish. I recommend this product ONLY if your tank is 3 gallons +. I have heard many things about people using this heater in a 1-gallon tank and having the water be too hot.

Just bought it back from the store and plugged it in and left it to heat for an hour, i come back and the tank did not get any warmer. I read plenty of other reviews where it would get too hot if left plugged in.

The reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is no indicator light. So you just put it in the aquarium, plug it in and depend on your thermometer to tell you it's working. I have this 10w heater in a 5.5 gallon aquarium. The room temp stays around 70 degrees during the winter and the heater holds the water temp at 78 give or take a degree. Seems to work great and it is small. Just wish there was a power light.

I love this heater! It is small and compact and only takes my water up to about 76-78 degrees F. It is the best thing in the world, it is also small enough and has enough wattage to heat my two gallon tank!
