Perfect for our hamster! The slide is very easy to chew if you have gerbils, so watch out, and it is very difficult to move the wheel. Good sturdy build, and easy to access.

Never buy this cage it is awuful. This cage is way to small for hamsters or gerbils. Remember the minimum cage requirement is 360 square inches

by mommy2sqs Very cool, but messy!
My 5 year old got this cage as a gift when she earned her gerbils. We got this one because of the ability to connect another cage, plus LOOK at it- it is 'SUPER COOL!' (Her words)
Sadly this cage is very messy and requires daily cleaning. We had to move the cage out of her room because we just couldn't keep the droppings contained. So now we are trying to figure out what to do.
Sorry the images are sideways!

These cages are the worst of the worst, they
are sold for children not pets and their focus is 'fun looking'
and 'brightly coloured' not on a suitable living area. They are
the most unnatural cage you can buy for a hamster yet they
advertise themselves as the 'most natural' simply because
'the system of tubes helps to mimic a hamsters natural
burrowing system'. While this is true to some extent a hamster
does not spend its entire life in its burrow. They use the burrows
for sleeping, storing food and keeping cool in the hot weather.
At dusk hamsters emurge from their burrows to forage and
explore. They will travel over 9 miles in a night through different
terrains only returning to their burrows at dawn to sleep. Not
only do modular cages prevent this natural behaviour but they
are poorly ventilated, cramped and not big enough for suitable
sized wheels and enrichment.
