Aqueon® Submersible Aquarium Heater
Works great so far.
I purchased this today after I broke my other heater. The 50w is much smaller than the Nat Geo 50w heater. This one is also easier to access. I don't have to take the whole heater out to change the temperature. It keeps my tank a constant 80, as I have it set at that temperature.

Extremely easy to assemble and keeps my tank at a perfect 76 degrees. I've had no problems what-so-ever and my fish love this heater:)

One hot item!
This is the first heater I would recommend to a friend, or anyone else.
I had a Very negative experience with my last heater, thankfully, I was only cycling my new aquarium, and had a few minnows in it.
This one, I set to 80, and 80 degrees it has been night and day for 2 weeks. Love this heater. If you don't want your fish to freeze, or fry, I recommend this heater. it does a great job.
Advice, ALWAYS test Any heater out first before putting it in with your prized fish.

Aqueon Submersible Aquarium Heater
I read a lot of reviews on different brands of heaters (on several different websites) & asked in fish forums & was told this was the one to buy. I'm glad I bought it because this heater works great! It is very accurate. It comes with suction cups to attach to the glass & it can be either fully or partially submersed (I have mine completely under water). There is minimum water level indicator near the top, if you keep the temp knob partially out of the water & the water goes under this line then the heater will turn off. I have this 150 watt on the left side of my 46 gallon aquarium & I have another 100 watt heater on the right side. This way if one breaks, I'll have a back up so my fish won't die while waiting on a new heater to come in & it keeps both ends of my tank warm. These two heaters keep my aquarium around 78 degrees.
